Milton Development Oceanview — An Underwater World Built Into the Lobby
The Challenge
At Milton Development Oceanview in Dania Beach, the goal was to transform the lobby into a memorable arrival experience while working within the realities of the existing architecture. The space called for significant visual impact without requiring a fully custom LED system. Existing architectural columns added another challenge, interrupting the wall where the display would live. The opportunity was to turn those constraints into part of the experience.
Immersive Impact Without a Custom Build
The Vision
The vision went beyond placing a large display in the lobby. The goal was to create an immersive visual environment that would immediately change how the space felt when residents and visitors walked through the door. Rather than relying on a fully custom hardware solution, Blue Square X used a standard Vision X configuration and integrated it strategically into the architecture. Immersive underwater content would bring the installation to life, transforming the display from a screen into a continuously moving digital environment.
Designed Around the Architecture
The Experience
Working with Acoustic Architects, Blue Square X installed a 271-inch Vision X 4K LED display with a 1.5mm pixel pitch, spanning approximately 11.07 feet high by 19.69 feet wide. To accommodate the lobby's existing columns, the LED canvas was divided into three sections, with the majority of the display positioned at the center and smaller sections extending to either side. Rather than treating the columns as interruptions, the visual experience was designed to move across the entire installation. Sand, turtles, dolphins, whales and schools of fish travel across the three-part canvas, creating one continuous underwater world. The result feels less like a screen installed in a lobby and more like a digital environment built into the architecture.

Milton Development Oceanview now has an arrival experience that brings movement, energy and a sense of discovery into the property from the moment someone walks inside. The immersive underwater environment transforms what could have been a static lobby surface into a defining feature of the space, creating a memorable experience for residents, visitors and prospective tenants alike. And it was achieved without a fully custom LED build. By combining a standardized Vision X system with thoughtful architectural integration and immersive content, Blue Square X created an experience that feels entirely its own. One 271-inch canvas.
