One Screen, Built for the Way Teams Actually Meets
The Challenge
Microsoft Teams' Front Row layout displays natively in a wide format rather than standard 16:9, giving meeting participants roughly 33% more usable screen space for video, content, and live reactions. Standard display cabinets, built at 16:9, can't take full advantage of that layout. Axinn needed a conference room display that could show a full video feed alongside live comments and reactions like raised hands or thumbs-up, without sacrificing screen space to either.
Built to Match the Software, Not Just the Room
The Vision
Rather than adapting a standard panel to fit an unconventional aspect ratio, the goal was to build the display around the exact proportions Front Row was designed for, giving Axinn's meeting participants the full benefit of the extra screen space Microsoft built into the layout.
A Custom Cabinet for a Non-Standard Ratio
The Experience
Blue Square X, working with Forté, built a custom Vision X display at 1.2mm COB pixel pitch, made up of 20 panels at 600mm W by 337.5mm H and 4 panels at 300mm W by 337.5mm H, for an overall size of 3300mm W by 1350mm H and a resolution of 2,640 by 1,080 pixels. The display is recessed into custom millwork and flanked by dedicated camera and microphone bars on either side, built specifically for Teams' Front Row layout rather than a standard conferencing setup. The custom cabinet configuration was engineered to match Front Row's exact aspect ratio, rather than cropping or letterboxing a standard 16:9 panel to fit. Every screen plate was verified flush to the wall, with each panel tested and confirmed functioning before handoff. Blue Square X loaded and played the video content for Axinn's on-site representative at handoff.

The Impact
Axinn's conference room now matches the way hybrid meetings are actually run, with remote participants' video, comments, and reactions all visible at once instead of competing for space on a standard screen. For a law firm where clarity and professionalism in client meetings matter, a display built around the software instead of forcing the software into a generic screen is a small detail that changes how every hybrid meeting in that room feels.
