The Challenge

A premium entrance should make an impression from every angle. At this Mason, Ohio business center, the lobby featured a wide, open ceiling above the main walkway. While the surrounding architecture established a refined environment, the space overhead presented an opportunity to create something unexpected: bringing visual energy into the entrance without adding a conventional wall-mounted display or competing with the architecture at eye level.

An Entrance Defined From Above

Looking Up Instead of Straight Ahead

The Vision

The goal was to make the ceiling part of the experience. Rather than placing technology within the existing sightline, the vision was to shift attention upward, using light, color, and motion to transform the space above the walkway. At nearly 30 feet long, the display would become less like a traditional screen and more like a digital skylight.

Nearly 30 Feet of Digital Canvas Overhead

The Experience

Blue Square X delivered a custom ceiling-mounted Vision X 2.5mm LED display stretching nearly 30 feet across the lobby ceiling. As visitors move through the entrance, the expansive digital canvas carries color and motion overhead, transforming an otherwise unused surface into a defining visual feature. Engineered specifically for its overhead application, the display was precisely integrated into the surrounding structure with a dedicated safety system and seamless finish. BSX also loaded the visual content and trained the client’s on-site team, ensuring the experience was ready from day one.

An Entrance Defined From Above

The Impact

The result changes the way visitors experience the lobby from the moment they enter. Where the ceiling once remained visually quiet, a nearly 30-foot digital canvas now carries color and motion across the walkway, drawing the eye upward and creating a sense of arrival. At this scale, the display feels like part of the architecture rather than traditional signage, transforming an overlooked surface into one of the defining features of the space. Nearly 30 feet of Vision X LED. One unexpected digital canvas. An entrance designed to make visitors look up.
